Where do you get this error? On BI Launch Pad or Rich client? Are you getting the same error on other reports as well? If you can attach a screenshot that would be great.

Hi Pavel,
It seems you create your webi reports in Standalone mode.
Please refer to following post thoroughly, it should solve your issue.
Hi Pavel,
I tried but not able to able to replicate your problem at my end. And there is not much information available on Internet about this error, so I would suggest to open a case with SAP Customer Support.
Along with that, if you want we can try to recover your reports created on this machine. I hope this should help.
Hi Pavel,
I hope you know, where the reports are saved on your local machine.
Following are some of the options:
Scenario No. 1:
Once you know location of your report, copy them to other machine where Rich Client is in working condition.
Login with credentials and try to open the report. Once opened, export to Repository
Scenario No. 2:
Try to re-install Rich client on your local machine. Make sure that you install Client tools with SP4.
Once re-installed, Login with credentials and try to open the report. Once opened, export to Repository
Scenario No. 3:
Once you know location of your report, copy them to server machine where Rich Client should be in working condition.
Login with credentials and try to open the report. Once opened, export to Repository
Please try and let me know.
Hi,
I am also facing the same issue. But it appears in BI Launchpad and the webi reports based on BICS connection. The error message appears for all the webi reports based on BICS connections only. The Webi reports based on BEX query > UNV (i.e. MDX) universe are working fine.
We are having almost 100 webi reports based on BICS connection.
But, I am able to view all of these reports using WebI Rich client. The error screen-shot is same as mentioned before by Pavel.
We are on 4.0 sp2 patch18.
Thanks and Regards,
Aashutosh
