Hi,
I can't login to my SAP GUI Solman 7.1. it gives me this error. SAPMMC is up and all in green status.
After installation of solman 7.1 I can login
What I have done before encountering this is:
Updating the support package using SUM (Software Update Manager) and encountered an error at Phase MAIN_NEWBAS/RUN_RSCPFROM_CRR. I stopped the update since I read a note that I should be using version SP06 patch level 6. Then after extracting SUM SP06 patch level 6, a note should be applied and when I tried to login to SAP GUI I can't now login.
How can I resolve this? How can I recover the SAP GUI login? SAPMMC is up and all in green status.
Hoping for an answer.
Thank you!
Hi Almira,
The default value is sapdp00 and the corresponding TCP port number is 3200, with your problem, may be it was caused by port 3202 cannot be reach. Please check the port, whether it is running or not. If the port is running, please check the network.
Hope this help.
Regards,
Loc Nguyen

Hello Almira,
if I were you, I would proceed with the upgrade now using SUM 1.0 SP 6

Hello Almira:
The SUM SP06 Patch level 5 have a bug, you need to use the last version of the SUM SP06 Patch level 8.
Note 1831282 - SUM 1.0 SP6 patchlevel 5 is faulty
in other forum the solution was restore the SUM directory, restore the database, restore your SUM Backup, reset the upgrade and run again the upgrade.
Hi Almira,
according to the update guide, if you want to reset an upgrade in the execution phase you have to:
"Restore the database, directory /usr/sap/<SAPSID>, and the update directory if it is not part of /usr/sap/<SAPSID>."
Did you restore the DB and the direcories?
