Case sensitive search on LOVs prompts of the Web Intelligence with BEx queries

Hi experts!

I am creating reports in Webi on BEx queries. When I have a BEx variable that is required for me as prompt in Webi, to search for items in the LOV it is necessarily case sensitive. The search is case sensitive is very bad. I need that the search is not case sensitive and do not know if it is possible to configure it.

I already found the following discussions:

These discussions were BO 3.1, I'm with BO 4.0 SP5 Patch 2. Apparently this problem is not a simple configuration. Does anyone know if there is any fixpatch that solves it or some note on future SAP solution?

    Hi Gustavo,

    try applying following note:

    1269398 - Case-insensitive search in input help (F4)

I know it works for other BO clients, but I do not know if it also applies to Web Intelligence. Please try and let us know the result.

    Best regards,

    Victor

    Dear Victor,

The SAP note mentioned works in WEBI. We are in BO 4.1 SP1.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

    Regards,

    Srini
