Hello,
When do we get this error? how do we rectify the same?
regards,
Hi Aby,
You can also use the report program RSDMD_CHECKPRG_ALL to eliminate these errors. You need to check the 'Repair' option to recreate the missing sids.
Hope that helps.

Hi Aby,
Guys above properly pointed out remedies for the problem elimination.
However, these tools are usefull when something wrong with tables in BW.
However, this error mostly occurs when
- you are trying to activate uploaded data in ODS released for BEx reporting or cubes
- uploaded data contain infoobjects with attributes
- there is no characteristic value in master data for such uploaded IO's.
The last condition is splitted into two particular situations:
1. There is an option in the infopackage that doesn't allow to create master data for new characteristic values;
2. The option allows to create master data but the key value of IO is not acceptable for the system. For example, lowercase letters or non permitted characters.
There is no remedy for the last situation. What you have to do is to check you incoming data, find erroneous ones, correct them and upload again.
If the situation with invalid characters is repeated, then it's better to write routine(s) in transfer rules to correct dataflow.
Best regards,
Eugene

Generally, there are safeguards that prevent the deletion of master data that is still active so that you don't have this scenario.
Tran RSRV has a number of Master Data diagnostic checks that find table inconsistencies and provides a correction capability.
