Component Planning issue in SNP Network Heuristic run

Dear APO experts!

I need your help for the following issue:

We are running SNP multilevel heuristic planning for ASIA region plants while US planners are actively planning for US plants because of the time difference. Some components used in ASIA parent items are subcontracted to US plants. In ASIA demand for their products are very volatile and changes happen very frequently. This triggers changing of dependent subcontracting demand at US plants and subsequently creating or changing the relevant receipts. With the results, relevant planned
orders are either created or changed while US planners are performing their ATP check and creating discrepancies in the planning.

We tried to setting Fix production and Fix Stock transfer options in SNP2 tab at US location components so that for a fixed horizon no changes in receipts happens in US locations. But this option is not desired by US plants hence we did not use it.

Is there any other way of preventing creation of receipts at US plants during ASIA network heuristic run? Possibly
like:

1) Restricting locations In SNP network heuristic in back ground? As you know the location selection greyed out when we select network heuristic option.

2) Using a BAdi to prevent saving of component planning results to livecache for selective location products.

Hi Raj,

Is there any possibility you can move to location heuristics, rather then running a network one, that one will be the easiest for you.or you can have different options like.

1) Deleting US receipts before US run.

2) Set SNP horizon in a way that short term receipts are not disturbed by SNP for US plants.

Check if any of the option is helpful in your case.
