Dear Specialists,
in SEM BCS I can set authorisation for BCS workbench with object R_UC_TASK in example for COMPANY.
Is it possible to use a variable that sets authorisation for COMPANY according to the user ??
In fact I would like to avoid making a separate role for each user.
(There is a similar scenario where BEX Query Variables are set at runtime according to the user via customer exit but BCS does not use BEx variables...
Any help would be appreciated.
Best regards,
Dirk
Hi,
we have the same problem with BCS authorizations. Have you found a solution yet?
Thanks

Hi,
I have never implemented it, but I have heard that you can create specific info-objects and DSO to store the authorizations values for each user instead of creating many specific roles.
Then you create some variables that you assign to your authorization objects and that will read the values stored in the DSO.
You can update the DSO by uploading flat files.
I think there is a specific "How to" dealing with this issue
