Transaction to creat BARCODE in system?

Hi,

Any body knows how to creat barcode in the system?

I mean is there any transaction by which we could creat BAROCDE with particular size & all?

Hi Prafulla,

first you have to decide, if you make the conversion by driver in SAP or in printer.

If you have a barcode printer, then you just send "source code" to a printer (ESQ-commands, zebra language ZPL).

In case you have output on a normal (HP laserjet) printer, then SAP has to do the conversion. Then smartforms are usefull, there is a special font for this. Define a style, here options are defined.

You might need a special font / driver in this case.

Hi Christian,

Thanx for your reply.

I have defined a character format in style as a barcode in witch I am selecting barcode from one of the dropdown I get in barcode selction field on the first screen of character format.

But none of option in this dropdown suits me.

Do you have any idea how to creat this barcode option in system, so that it can be available in the dropdown of barcode field on character format screen in style?
