SAP BW Query and Crystal Reports: only technical names displayed

Hello all,

I’m using a SAP BW Query as a source for Crystal Reports but I have a problem because all of a sudden BW queries that have structures only display
the technical names of the "query structures", i.e.  only UIDs are visible. All the affected queries have only one structure.

We recently upgraded to SAP BW 7.31 and we tested the reports and they were working fine but all of sudden this happened.  I went through threads about this issue but I'm not getting an answer.

We're on SAP BW 7.31 and Crystal Reports 2008 SP5.

The issue has since been resolved after deploying SP0007 to our SAP BW systems.

Please make sure to import the new SAP Transports into BW as part of your upgrade to SP05 process. These are in the Installation media for SP05.

Would the transports need to be updated? Reason I'm asking is that the reports used to work before on SP5.

everytime you SP or Patch, the transports need to be updated accordingly.

maybe your BW was rolled back ?
