Operation Scrap in Master Recipe

Hi,

I wanted to show some quantity of planned scrap for the header material during one of the operation (filtration). Though we can declare the actual quantity received while booking output, i want system should also consider the planned scarp percentage for this operation,for sake of standard cost estimation. As you know there is no provision to enter operation scrap in master recipe (OP5D doesn't work), Is there any alternate way of defining the scrap at operation level?

Does "Phase Scrap" column of Material Quantity Calculation in Master recipe can be used. How this can be set up?

Hi,

If it is Header material, u can maintain scrap % in Material master -MRP1 as Assembly scrap  OR if material is component, u can maintain Component scrap % in MRP4.

Then system will consider those %s during MRP calculation.
