After System Copy transport import, some DTP objects not visible but exist in DTP table

Gurus,

We're in process of a BW 7.3 upgrade using System Copy (parallel approach).  The process includes the following steps:

1. Collect and release transport of the source system dependent objects

2. Delete the current ECC connection (this step deletes all source system objects)

3. Create a new ECC connection

4. Import the transport (created above)

The problem we have is that some objects (DTPs, Infopackages etc) are not visible after the Import, but others are. We've repeated this process 3 times and each time there are different objects missing.

When I researched the 2 DTPs, one missing and one found, they both exist in table RSBKDTP, however the missing one is in "T" version only and the found one in "T" and "M" version. See image:

Questions:

1. Why would some objects import correctly and others not?

2. How can I activate an object which has "T" version?

Thanks,
Gregg

Resolved: Solution provided by SAP:

Note 1768863 - SP31:Unintentional skip of After Import methods processing

Followed by re-import of the transport

Follow up:

This error has occurred again in our Test System with the same symptoms. After recovering the data sources back to 3.x, as mentioned above, and a re-import of the source system dependant transport the issue still exists.

This is in BW 7.3.

Anyone have any ideas?

Solution: The transport import was failing on 3.x objects due to 7.x format already existing in target system . Once the required objects were recovered back to 3.x version the transport imported correctly.
