LDAP Access Via ABAP

Hello Experts,

I am trying to update an LDAP Directory field. At the moment that field is not being used. I need to populate tht field with the HR Data. I am trying to use the FM LDAP_UPDATE add this field.

Do I need to do a LDAP_READ before calling the LDAP_UPDATE.

What parameters are to be passed?
