R/3 Refresh CO-PA Delta Error

Our R/3 quality system was recently refreshed. I am not able to run a CO-PA Delta. The error states DataSource does not have the status of the source system in the Business Information Warehouse. It suggests re-transporting the DataSource and activating the Transfer Rules. When I create the transport for the R/3 DataSource, I'm getting the DataSource and 7 table contents but not the Z* table. Is this correct? Did I create the transport correctly? What is the procedure for getting CO-PA deltas to run again after an R/3 refresh?

hi,

do you mean transporting from developement system?

Maybe your Z* table is in $tmp transport package...

Go to se11 display your Z* table, find object directory entry in menu and change package to same as rest of your transport

Andrzej,

Yes I am transporting from development system to quality system. The table is not assigned to the $TMP transport package. It has the same ZBW package as the tranport.

Andrzej,

I performed the steps outlined in your post. The transport listed only shows the DataSource and the Table Contents. I do not see a listing for my Z* table. Do I need to transport the Z* table if I didn't make any changes? The only reason I'm transporting is to solve the issue caused when our R/3 quality system was refreshed.

Thank you for your help!

Just a little more information...

The message I'm receiving when I run a Delta is R316 DataSource 1_CO_PA_CL20099995 has to be replicated (time stamp, see long text).

I used transaction RSA6, selected my datasource, then clicked the Transport DataSource button.

The DataSource and Table Contents appeared in the transport but not the Z* table. Am I doing this correctly? If not, what are the proper steps?

Thanks again!

Hi Teri,

I think that if your Q system has your Z table active, then retransporting DS activation request from Dev, replicating DS in Q and activating transfer rules should do the job.

Best regards,

Eugene

Hi Teri,

Just to let you know, we get the same message every once in a while and usually if you re-activate the transfer rules all is well - even though it says to replicate, we have found that re-activating the transfer rules is what is needed.
