Hi.

here i come again.

VC show me an error, when i try search Data services, appears follow error.

Failed to connect to backend system, check your system definition and user privileges.

where can i resolve this problem?

Hi Ruben,

I hope you have done user mapping , mapping of portal user to your backend system if not follow this step

This seeting you have to do on portal

1. click on Personalise seeting you will find it on right top most corner next to help link.

2. you will get window open click user mapping fill the user name and password and detail of backecnd system to which you want connect.

3. click save.

Hi ruben,

Check for the user mapping for the systems you have created in the portal.

Run the connection test and see whether you have got the green check mark for the "Connection test for Connectors".

connect to the portal using http://hostname:50000 and not using http://hostname.domain:50000.

Usually this happens when there is no user mapping and missing congifuration in system. The system you have created should be a dedicated server.
