Proforma Invoice not auto created when do the shipment

Hello all,

I face an issue below:

At the beginning of this year (2017) when i do the check-in option then save the shipment and the profoma invoice not be created, but in the past it was auto created. If i use VF01 to create profoma invoice then it will be created..

As i checked in configuration: IMG >> Logistic execution >> Transportation >> Shipments >> Define & assign activity profile and it seem correct.

And my profoma billing was code to create profoma via BAPI : BAPI_BILLINGDOC_CREATEFROMDATA. and set in background task.

I tried to debug but still not find out reason.

Any suggestion on this issue ? thanks so much.

Check the version of your program that is calling the BAPI, maybe there was a change that caused the stop.

Alternative check your user profile for roles that became invalid or got removed with the year change.

Thanks for your reply. I checked before that the version of program is not change recently.

I will check the roles and profile for that user and will update info later.

The role to created profoma billing via the bapi is expired.
