Unable To Install SAP B-One Client from Outside Network

Hi,,

Please advise me for the following error;

Iam trying to install SAP B-One Client by using public ip:(i.e., outside of my office network)

the following error occured:

We have Cisco ASA 5510 Firewall ; I have already allowed the port: 30000 and 30001

Hi Mohd,

Can you ping that IP? Does the server have an active firewall?

ps: You should never expose the IP in the screenshots. This makes it easier for an attacker to know the public IP address where your server is. Use a image editing tool to "smudge" the IP.

yes i can ping the server  and its firewall is off

Hi Mohd,

You could try to install Putty on your machine and connect to the License Server IP and port to see if the connection is correctly established. If it fails I would say to take a look at the router config (although there I can't really help you).

Here is a tutorial how to use Putty telnet connection to connect to the License Server.
