Dear experts,
is there any doc like the following one but for the Socket Agent, instead of the OPC one?
I would appreciate any other help
Thanks in advance
Hi Eduardo,
currently there's only an outdated version on the SAP service marketplace for SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse management) that describes configuration of socket agents using PCo 2.1.
I'll try to provide you with an updated short decription of how to configure socket agents for PCo 2.2.
Best regards
Uwe

Olá Eduardo,
as promised: Please have a look at the following SCN document
"SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo) Meets SAP EWM Material Flow System (MFS)"
Link: https://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-40783
Greetings
Uwe
Hi Uwe,
I have followed the steps and "Check Connection", "Simulate System Call" and "Test gateway Registration" are OK.
But the RFC "Connection" Test fails:
PCo is in one network and "Gateway and the SCM system" in another. That`s why I have had to fill the "SAP Router" field in the "RFC Client Settings" in PCo. If I leave blank (as describes in you DOC) it does not work the "Check Connection".
I have dispatched the problem to Basis staff.
Apart form the "ERROR and SOLUTIONS" in page 12 of your DOC, is there any other matter I should check?
Thanks in advance
Greetings
Hi Eduardo!
thank you ver much for your reply!
In most of such cases the information stored in reginfo and secinfo files of the gateway system doesn't allow a registration of PCo as server program (see FAQ note 1789575 and the NetWeaver notes listed in the FAQ note). After enhancing the reginfo and secinfo files with appropriate entries for your PCo server program you should be able to get connected.
Best regards
Uwe
