    Hi,

You can check with table VBFA,

pass delivery number with VBFA-VBELV and pick the value from the field VBFA-VBELN correspondent to the VBTYP_N ,

    M- for Invoice

    Q - for Tranfer order

    R - For PGI

    O    Credit memo

    P    Debit memo

    ets..

    Hope it will help you.

    Regards

    Pitabash

    Hi Linh,

For this you have to go the line item table VBRP - VGBEL and VGTYP = J. Otherwise you will get credit memo request numbers also.

    • Kesari,

One question - In the billing document, at line item level, field "Reference doc" (you mentioned in your post) and associated Doc. category; are these fields configurable?

If yes, where can we do these configuration settings?

I checked VTFL, at header level, fields Assignment and Reference are configurable.

But at item level, where are the settings?

      Thank you!

    Van, Kesari, Pitabash,

It is interesting to see that both members have taken different "input parameters".

Kesari has taken billing document as input parameter and found the related delivery number.

On the other hand, Pitabash has taken delivery number as input parameter and found the billing document number.

Van, what is / are the input parameters and what are you trying to extract?

Note: There could be n:m relationship between delivery note:billing document
