Cost determination of sales set

Former Member

Dear colleagues,

Out client implements IS-Retail. The customer wants to sale structured articles ( sales sets). The header article is created as "10 Sales set" material catergory, without purchase price and with components assigned to it (tr.code MM41).

The sales are transferred to the ERP system via Idoc basic type WPUBON01 that creates billing and GI documents. There are no sales orders used in this process. The problem is that the system cannot calculate the cost (VPRS condition) of the sales set in the billing document (the cost should be summerization of all components in the sales set) .

Please advise what are the necessary settings in order to solve the above problem.

Thank you in advance,

Svetlin

Hi Svetlin,

In sales set,

Cost of the sales set= total cost of the components

1.Check the calucaltion schema used in POS Inbound profile

2.Configure the schema as per requirement

3.Place the condition type in the schema

4.Put a requirement for the condition (with the ABAP help)

This will help you to fetch the cost price of the sales set in the Idoc

Cheers,

Srinivas

Hi,

We use a version of the Retail calculation schema. The condition type for COGS calculation is VPRS.

Do you mean some other condition type?

Do you mean that we should develop new calculation type or the VPRS condition should be part of the Idoc?

Hi Svetlin,

put a requirement in front of the cond type(which you are choosen already) to calculate the cost price.

No need to create a new one

I sent a message to SAP. The SAP official statement is that  'In POS interface - inbound processing, structured articles are treated as standard articles. They are not exploded.

The BOM explosion is not done at billing in case of sales posted via sales IDOC (WPUUMS or WPUBON) therefore the billing is done only for the header.
