convert guid ( Raw16 ) into char70

Hello Gurus,

I need to convert one variable of type raw16 into char70. I tried many ways but I am not able to get it.

Please help me out in this conversion process.

    Hi Magana,

    Please try this FM 'VK40_CONVERT_GUID_TO_DATA1'. It should help you. best way to find an FM is to do a where-used list on that field. For Ex: put GUID in SE11-> Data Type field and check for Function Module Interfaces. Hope this helps!

    Hi Magana,

    I am not sure what you mean by convert because I am able to move a raw 16 data type to a char 70 data type without an issue.

    For example:

    DATA: ls_char(70) type c,

    ls_guid(16) type x.

    CALL FUNCTION 'GUID_CREATE'

    IMPORTING

    EV_GUID_16 = ls_guid.

    ls_char = ls_guid.

    Hallo Magana,

    CL_SYSTEM_UUID=>CONVERT_UUID_X16

    exporting

    UUID =

    importing

    UUID_C22 =

    UUID_C32 =

    UUID_C26 = .
