Consistency between KEKO, MBEW and CKMLPP

Hi All

It is possible to have materials with volumes and standard prices on MBEW without having a material cost estimate in KEKO.

Is the same scenarion possible when the material ledger is active for transfer pricing? I.e. if I add together the volumes in CKMLPP, will I get the same answer if I add together the volumes in MBEW/H?

Hi Piet Strydom,

I feel that there is no difference even if you update the price through CKMLPC. By this time, you may not get the cost estimate (KEKO will not show the entry) and relevent account and costing documents will be generated for the differential value on account of re valuation. Inventory will be reflected in MBEW as per the latest rate and costing 2 tab also std price will be changed, but where as for MBEWH, system will update the table entries based on the subsequent month materail movements. This time the period end date rate will be consider to update the previous month inventory in MBEWH

But sometimes impact value may create problem when doing period end closing of ML run and it may create non distributed values for the respective material and it may pass the higher level materials of the respective mateirals.

Thanks,

Vasu
