Good Day

Do any of you experts know if the is an Audit trail on changes made to of Modifying Work Status? And if so, how to go about using it?

I am currently using BPC 7.5 Microsoft.

Also any idea where i could find the SAP doc on Everything Audit (Manage Audit Data, Manage Audit Activity etc) on BPC? I have checked SAP Service market place and had no luck in finding any Audit docs

Thanks in Advance

and you can also query from the "LOCK" tables directly at the DB level if you have the ability to do so, which will give you the date/time of when the updates were made.  You can also find other helpful system audit reports within the Admin Console.

Thanks,

Brian

The report on work status allows you to display the work status codes for a set of given criteria.

Work status is a feature that allows you to lock regions of data from being overwritten. You define “work states” , for example, Locked, Submitted, or Approved, so users can control input to specific data regions and input methods (for example, to prevent the Data Manager being used to update data).

Features

The work status report shows Data State, which is the current work state for the data. It tells you the current stage of the data in the overall approval process. You can filter the report to the specific region of the model for which you want to display the work states.

It also shows the dimensions for which you define work status as being applicable. There can be three to five dimensions (the report adjusts dynamically based on the active model).

You specify the report parameters as specified in the following table:

Model

Select a model, for example, PLANNING or RATE.

Dimension Members

Select dimensions and dimension members that the work status is stored against.

The dimensions displayed depend on the selected model.

Date and Time

You can choose start and end dates for the report or display the full history of the selected work status information (Anytime).

Additional Criteria

User ID – Enter the user ID for which you want to display the work status report.

Activities

To view a work status report, select Audit from the left navigation pane in the Home tab, and from the list of reports, select Work Status. Set the appropriate reporting options and choose Display Report. If the data exceeds the value of the parameter MaxSystemReportQuerySize in the Administration Client, data is not returned and a message displays. Set a proper filter to reduce the amount of data being displayed.
