SAP BW Doublestack (BW/Portal) Split - Portal in DMZ - Connect to BW

Hello,

i have a question. We have here a BW System 701 Doublestack.

We want now put our Portal to the Internet to connect from outside to our BW System.

So what i think the best way is.

Make a Stack Split and install the Portal on a new Machine in the DMZ. Open then only the Ports needed to connect the Portal to the BW System and connect the Portal to the BW again.

Is this a good solution. Or do you have better ways to do that?
