Hi,
I have done sample table reorganizations in a test system using brtools.
big tables such as BSEG,VBAK,LIKP ..
I wants to know what will happens to a table reorganization process. ?
Whats the purpose of table reorganization.
Is it possible to check whether the reorganization process is successful or not.
(for example by checking the space acquired or any other way)
How to identify in production environment , whether a specific table needs reorganization or not.
kindly clarify me
regards,
zerandib

Hi,
Reorganization is required to release space and you can also reduce number of extents from db if you delete some data from table. You can check logs of reorganization in sapreorg folder.
