Data update from ODS To cube

Hello Friends

when i try to load the data from ods to cube data fails to load in the cube . when i see the monitor status is in yellow and it gives massage

Data not received in InfoCube / PSA object / InfoObject

Diagnosis

Data has not been updated in InfoCube / PSA object / InfoObject . The request is probably still running or there was a short dump.

when i search for short dump thereis no short dump nor no error log but request goes on running and ends after few hours with the same message with satus red. when i say update datatragets automatically in ODS.i have selected the update datatragets automitcally in ODS also .

can u plz suggest me what needs to be done . this is the all the ODS to cubes . waiting for ur replays. points will be rewarded . thankyou

thanks for replay. here is detail error . where it says to look into short dump where there is no short dump.

Diagnosis

Data has not been updated in InfoCube / PSA object / InfoObject . The request is probably still running or there was a short dump.

Procedure

In the short dump overview in BW, look for the short dump that belongs to your data request. Make sure the correct date and time are specified in the selection screen.

You can use the wizard to get to the short dump list, or follow the menu path "Environment -> Short dump -> In Data Warehouse".

Removing errors

Follow the instructions in the short dump.

In proceesing Data packet there is no data in details .

Try to (re)generate an export datasource on ODS, then reactivate update rules of the cube. I assume that URs of the cube are based on ODS.

i tryed that too but does not work . the problem is have same problem with all the cubes and ods i cant fill the cubes from the ods. is there any other way . waiting for ur repaly . thankyou

i have wrote to sap . once i get any replay i will let forum know .i have one problem . can u guide me .

1. i have flat file with pos sales data with EAN no only and sales data. i dont have problem upload the data into cube using EAN/UPC charcterstic for EAN no in pos file .

2. now i have a requirement user want to create a multi cube inorder to connect this pos cube with my Article cube . so that when user enter EAN number in the querys he can get the material for the pos EAN noalso.

3. in the article cube i have ean no with material number also . where in article cube EAN/UPC is attribute of 0material.

4. now i can make connection between this EAN no with EAN number in Article so that we can get article no .

how should be my design . can u anyone plllz help me how to do this . thanks and points will be rewared for there

I believe that you provided monitor information from 'Status' tab. What is said in 'Details' tab?

Expand Requests, Extraction, Transfer and Processing nodes and tell us what are the messages.

How many recrds that u r uploading from ur ODS.? Is there any parallel loads on the same server.?

Hi Veda,

A tablespace is logical storage area in the database. Speak to your basis on this. Ther might also be a buffer overflow problem.

Alternatively you can have a look at the tablespace in DB02.

By the way, how many records are you uploding from the ODS. Also try to restrict the no. of records and then check.

data is active in the ods . sm37 job finished . update rules are active what is the table space . where i need to see this . waitnting for ur repaly .
