Budget controlling for PR without BUDGET MGMT MODULE

Hi,

We want to control budget when creating PR,in the way that if  the department creates PR then system should need to check available

budget for that department and if it is available, then system should allow to create PR and else, system should give error message as

budget exceeded. and after each PR system needs to update the budget value and compare with original and remain budget.

But we didn’t configure Budget Management Module in FI/CO ,Is there any solution to do this without configuring Budget

Management Module?

you can do it for PRs with account assignment internal orders..configuration are in controlling > internal orders. you have to define a budget profile, assign it to order type.. have budget assigned to order in KO22.  You may check with folks handling Controlling
