NW 7.3 cannot find sapinst

Hello,

I downloaded NW 7.3 from marketplace and extracted

files.

According to manual "sapinst" should be inside directory

\DATA_UNITS\<product>_IM_WINDOWS_<your platform>_<your DB>

But this directory only contains Readme file without  "sapinst.exe"

You need to download software provisioning manager 1.0

Software provisioning manager 1.0 is available via the Software Logistics Toolset. For more information, see SAP Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/sltoolset

download the SWPM 1.0 from service market palce.

Hi Oskar,

  SAP is recommending to use SWPM instead of SAPINST.

Please following the Note 1680045 - Release Note for Software Provisioning Manager 1.0 and download the latest SWPM tool..

You can see the list of options to install in the above note itself.
