Adaptive Processing server ( APS) in BO 4.0 SP4 patch 8 ( 14.0.4)

Hello All,

We are using SAP BO 4.0 SP4 patch8 ( Product Version 14.0.4). We are using BICS to connect to SAP BW. By default with BO installtion we have one Adaptive Processing server (APS) which contains 21 services. Now we are using only WEBI reports using BICS connectivity. Please let me know what are the services not required in APS , so that We can clone the existing APS and create a new APS based on requirement and stop all the un necessary services in APS.

Also please throw me some light on sizing.

Failing Adaptive Processing Server:

Ultimately I removed some services from the AdaptiveProcessingServer which solved my problem. In this documentation I’ll explain how to enable AdaptiveProcessingServer

Log on to the CMC and go to ‘Servers’ and then ‘Servers List’ check the status of the APS (AdaptiveProcessingServer). In case it is not stopped, stop it manually by right clicking.

Once the APS is stopped, right click to ‘Select Services’.

I removed 14 services from the APS:

Then I saved the settings and restarted the APS. Charts are now showing up again.
