As far as I know, there is no dialect available for Hibernate to support HANA. I know some (SAP external) poeple were considering building the dialect, but I do not know any more details than that.

In the mean time, one can use EclipseLink. Starting with EclipseLink 2.5 (planned for Kepler / mid of this year), HANA is directly part of the download and no extra configuration of a HANA platform is needed. Until then, you have to add the HANA platform jar to your application (of course, unless you use container managed persistence with the 2.x SDK).
