How to resolve errors in SXMB_MONI

Hi all,

   i had searched a documents on how to resolve an errors but i am unable to find.So can any one can explain step by step how to resolve.

Hi Samir,

# Once you notice any error in SXMB_MONI then you can analyze the error by looking into the Payload. you can copy the payload and run into ESR mapping test tab.

# Other type of error that you can find in SXMB_MONI is the error with BPM scenarios. For this you need to get into PE and look for the error step in the BPM work flow. (explained by: Anupam)

# Another error you will find is related to config where the correct agreement or receivers are not found. this may be because of incorrec configuration and after restoring it in ID you can always resend the failed message from SXMB_MONI.

MONI only provides you to analyze the cause of the error and the error category is not standard in MONI.

You will always have to ask the Users/Business to resend the data incase of any error found in MONI.

You should to concrete more, there are some kind of errors in XI/PI and there are information espicifical for each one.

Hi Shaik,

               There can be multiple types of errors in SXMB_MONI.

1. Errors in outbound side

2. errors in mapping. :-  Need to check each mapping. MONI would show red flag in inbound side.

Then extract the inbound message payload and with the payload you need test each mapping using test tab.

3. if you get a red flag(besides "PE" tab) because a BPM has falied. then you need to use transaction sxmb_moni_bpe and choose continue process following the error. Try to restart the BPM workflow and refresh. If you click on the "PE" tab itself you can see the details of the workflow and where excatly the workflow has stopped. All workflows may not be started then you need to investigate the exact reason for workflow stoppage.

If you are facing  specific errors please upload the screenn shot. This is because there can  lot of errors showing up in MONI thus compilation list of all erorrs and their possible solution is difficult to be listed here.  Howevr you can check this blog http://www.riyaz.net/sap/xipi-sap-xi-troubleshooting-guide/372/

Using the SXMB_MONI transaction you can monitor the processing of messages on the local Integration Engine. You can use message monitoring to do the following:

•   Monitor the processing of messages and message packages.
•   Display an overview of all defined jobs.
•   Execute error and status tracking.
