ESS and MSS Latest Abap BP's for Portal 7.31

Dear All,

We have newly installed Portal version 7.31 and ECC 6 with EHP 6. Kindly provide the latest Abap ESS and MSS Business Packages for Portal 7.31.

Also provide the link from where I can download the same.

Hi Disha,

If you want to have Webdynpro java based ESS and MSS, The new packages supported for NW 7.3 are:
a) ESS 633
b) PCUI_GP 633
c) MSS 630

BP for Ess - 1.41
BP for MSS - 1.41

If you want to use webdynpro abap based applications, Applications are available in backened EHP5 system itself, so you only need to deploy business package.

BPERPESSWDA 1.50
BP for MSS - 1.51
MSS Addon 1.0

I was able to Download BPERPESSWDA 1.50 and MSS Addon 1.0 but I am unable to trace BP for MSS - 1.51. Could you plz help.

Also, is PCUI_GP not required in Abap Business Packages??

Hi Disha,

Search with "BP ERP05 MSS"  in SMP , you will get.

I got it.. I could not download it directly through SMP.. Will have to download it from Solman..

Could you plz explain what is the difference between Java Based BP's and Abap Based BP's.. Does that affect the perfromance??

I am not sure about this . But the   SAP Note No. 1588625 gives some info for ABAP BP.

After I installed BPERPESSWDA 1.50 BP for ESS only services are available and others link Employee Serach, Travel Management, Working Time, etc are missing.

Could you plz help..
