Webi Report opening in a new page when calling from URL Iview in SAP Portal

Hi All,

          We have recently upgraded our system to Bi4.0 SP5 patch 2. We have webi and crystal reports configured in SAP protal with URL iviews. When we view the webi reports through URL iview, the reports are displaying in a new page. In the same iview, if i try to replace the CUID/DOC id to Crystal report, the report is opening with in the portal content. This is happening only with the webi reports. If the URL iview settings is incorrect, then the crystal report should also have the same issue, but it is not. Only the Webi reports are displaying in a new page outside the content window. Please suggest.

Hi Magesh,

please test the following.

check the preferences in BI Launchpad,  for  General / Set document viewing location: / Select the option   In the BI launch pad portal as tabs . Then try to create a page with the opendoc and then add this page to the role, see if it works.

Try also to use the html anchor tag  "_self"  which should force visualization within the same frame
