facing problem in sum phase create stack from stack file step.

Hi Experts,

I have recently install PI 7.3, before post configuration i would like to upgrade it to SPS7 , I have also added system in solution manager with ABAP and JAVA Application server ..generated stack file downloaded pathes..

but in SUM i am getting error create stack from stack file...

I am attaching here with stack.xml + logs and other screenshots..

also tried to regerate stack.xml but that didnt helped anymore..

Hi Yogesh,

Your system is not configured properly in Solman.

Check the system information and Software components in LMDB.

Comapare the stack.xml file with system information components.

Issue resolved when i compared software component with stack.xml ..added software component and regenerated stack.xml

I am facing a similar problem to the one you encountered, please advise on how you compared the software components with the stack.xml, I ran system ---> status in the solution manager system get the list of components and i opened the xml file generated from the mopz transaction but they had similar entries. Please assist

Hi Danai,

You have to compare your existing software components of system with those showing in solution manager for this system, the error is because there is mismatch between them .if there is any missing you have to manually add it one by one all missed one.. but in the case SLD is properly functioning this should not happened ..please check SLD whether it is  properly functioning and fetching data, try to resolve that first if that get resolved ..regenerate stack.xml and rerun sum ..you will able to get pass this phase.

Hi All,

I could resolve this issue when i regenerate stack.xml ....before that i have change the setting in smsy and added XD1 as java technical system then it picked up both stack in mopz ..i could go little away but not i am facing error in same phase ..the error says this ..

Hi Yogesh,

Error message: Mar 7, 2013 9:30:30 AM [Error ]: Cannot check if SCA /usr/sap/DVD/PI7.3/MESSAGING07_22-10007927.SCA has CR-SDA.

The mentioned SDA file seems to be damaged, so please download it again into the EPS in directory and try to deploy the stack.

Seems to me that the java stack you created is incorrect, did you supply the right source and target SPS in MOPZ?... are you getting the acurate current SPS for the system in SMSY/LMDB?

It looks like product data is missing in solution manager. Please refer to SAP note 1326123. Please try to upload file from SAP note 1141296.
