Availability check in Sales order

Hi All

Please advise if Sap does have the functionality that automatically pops up to inform on what stock is available while punching the sales order before we save?

Your assistance would be appreciated

Hi Deepankar,

when you enter line item in sales order if the material qty is not available in ordering plant ( unrestricted use) , availability check functionality activated and propose delivery date with multiple options( calculated procure or production replenishment times) by setting OVZJ in availability check configuration . popup screen only apear by seleting black value in OVZJ.

same way if you want to check the material availability in other plant you can do by click on "OTHER PLANTS" push button , system will give you clear pictures about plants and available quantity.(only prapose the plants where material was extended or created )

In OVZJ  If we keep One time Delivery system Understands This particular sales Are is full delivery if we created Partial delivery system wont accept

But i have one doubt if we gave Deliver proposal system allows for this sales area only Item proposal

Plz give me lit bit clarity

Hi Deepankar,

If you want automatic pop up by the system there is no functionality which makes it possible, you can assign availability check rule in SD - availability check - default settings to your sales area.

Here you have some options, but at most you can display availability screen in case of shortages.

So for this specific requirement you might still have to go for a development.

Check in schedule line tab whether the order quantity is confirmed.  Based on this, order can be saved.
