C/o Name field in the screening process

Hi Folks,

I am wondering what is the best practice around screening against the C/o name value appearing in the SPL master record.

What fields from the customer and vendor master records should C/o Name (SPL master) field be screened against.

Also, is there an option to selectively include the C/o name field from the SPL master within the screening process ( say use this value when the SPL master records appear under a specific list type only).

Regards,

Jasmit

Hello Jasmit,

field name NAME_CO is within standard structure of ADRC. You make this name relevant in customizing --> Define control procedures for address comparison.

You can make this active for specific legal regulation. So from customizing perspective in order to have selectivelly for different SPL lists you would have to reassign such list to legal reg which would have c/o name activated for screening.

If this would not be an option you would need to program small selection logic.

Thanks Gabriel !!

Are you advising that the NAME_CO field be removed from the "Define control procedures for address comparison" config in case you don't want to include the value of this field from the SPL master in the screening process ?

Thanks and Regards,

Hello Jasmit,

this is other question. Unfortunatelly there is no such control for SPL masters like for which fields to generate comparison terms and for which not.

Customizing of Define control procedures for address comparison is for BP ADRC index generation.

In case you want to remove c/o from SPL you would have to make small deletion report. (do not forget about updates). You would have to run it after every update.

Are the c/os in SPL making crazy hits in your screening?

Cheers,

Gabriel.
