unable to save changed templates in the WAD with BW 3.5

Hi everybody,

We have BW 3.0B on win2k with SQL 8.

We upgraded it to 3.5 on the same platform.

When we try to save a changed template or a new one we get an error message saying: "The communication was terminated due to a server error".

any ideas?

Hello Avishai!

The message "The communication was terminated due to a server error" indicates a RFC problem. The RFC trace (see note 308929 how to create such a trace) should help you to see a more detailed error message.

Maybe you have a shortdump (see transaction SM21 for details in the system log).

If you cannot fix the issue on your own, you should create an OSS message.
