PLEASE SUGGEST ME AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.. Thank you all
Hi Basis,
1. logon to configtool
2. select the com.sap.security.core.ume.service
check the host and also the below parameters suggested by sandeep
ume.r3.connection.master.client -
ume.r3.connection.master.user -
ume.r3.connection.master.passwrd
ume.r3.connection.master.ashost
ume.r3.connection.master.sysnr
ume.persistence.data_source_configuration

Hi,
In addition to Sandeep, please open the config tool -> secstore data and update the password for SAPSR3DB as well as SAPJSF or J2EE_ADMIN or Administrator users.
Then try to restart and check whether it resolves the issue.
If not, please attach the latest log for further analysis.
Thanks and Regards,
Vimal

Hi,
The UME is still pointing to the Source System, re-configure the UME and also adjust SAPJSF authorizations(change password).
"Caused by: com.sap.engine.services.security.exceptions.BaseSecurityException: No active userstore is set."
You can use configtool to fix this problem
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/20/361941edd5ef23e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
Also have a look into the following parameters
ume.r3.connection.master.client -
ume.r3.connection.master.user -
ume.r3.connection.master.passwrd
ume.r3.connection.master.ashost
ume.r3.connection.master.sysnr
ume.persistence.data_source_configuration

Sandeep

The UME of AS JAVA is probably still pointing to production AS ABAP or in case you used localhost it is using the credentials of the SAPJSF user in production AS ABAP. Anyway, re-configure the UME and if required adjust SAPJSF authorizations, password, etc. on AS ABAP.
