Error when incident is recorded "Exception Occured"

Hi All,

We are using NetWeaver Business client(NWBC) for SAP EHS 2.0.

Getting an error after when incident is submitted to report Managers. Incident get recording with out any issue but displaying an error "Exception Occured".

Please advice.

I was using Report Incident simplified to record an incident.

Hi Quantum,

Some of the Incident management business objects are missing in BOBF therefore exception occured it seems. I really don't know how to fix this however please browse on the below links to know more informations on BOBF in EHSM,

Hello Quantum,

Exception Occurred  due to many unknown reasons few are mentioned below.  I believe missing Authorization is creating exception in your case, I also faced similar issue for CE 3.0 and 4.0

1) Incorrect ADS configuration or ADS connections as suggested by Edward.

2) Missing Default configuration, incorrect number range maintenance etc.

3) Authorization issue. As you mentioned you are using NWBC, would recommend you to check PFCG Role  "SAP_EHSM_HSS_INCIDENT_REPORTER" .

Check Authorization data for Authorization Objects and also maintain Authorization Values as suggested in EHSM 2.0 Master guide. like  EHHSS_INC1  and EHHSS_INC2

Hi Sunil,

Thanks for your inputs on my issue. We have noticed that our default configuration was missing on some nodes, so we have to redo the configuration and then my issue was resolved.

But do not know exactly what was causing my above error.

Hi Naveen,

First check the connection to ADS. You can use the program FP_PDF_TEST_00 to do this. The program FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE must also run successfully (both with and without the checkbox selected on the selection screen). If this program does not run successfully, there is a error in the configuration.

Use SE38 Tcode. if you don't have access, ask your ABAP & Basis team execute this process.

Test for FP_PDF_TEST_00 program.

Now, your ADS connection is working fine.we will move to next test.

You need to check your service is activated or not.

Test 2 for FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE. Run below mention steps with help of SE38 T-code.

Execute this process.If this program does not run successfully, there is a error in the configuration.you seed to activate ADS Service. The both program is ruining successfully the exception error will not occur.

Hello,

I hope you are doing well.

I believe the two tests ran successfully butI am still receiving the "ExceptionOccured: /BOBF/FRW 032" error when performing the "Report incident - simplified", "Report Near miss" and "Report Safety Observation" options.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Pl.Ensure either Adobe services are configured or not. for running IM Process ,Adobe is mandatory.
