Process Chain - Abap Program with RC

Hi,

I have a process chain in which one of the process is of type ABAP Program w/ RC. Everything works fine but this process somehow does not turn green (the functionality is not affected though).

EXPORT w_subrc TO MEMORY ID 'TRAF'.

The above line of code is used to set the return code at the end of the program. Wts the difference between using a process type Abap Program & Abap Program w/ RC ?
