Error - "Value V6 for characteristic 0fiscvarnt is invalid"

Hi,

When I check the BEx reprting flag in ODS and reactivated I am getting the following error "Value V6 for characteristic 0fiscvarnt is invalid".

How should I fix this error.

Hi Rao,

Also check the transaction ob29 and check whether the variant V6 is manitained there or not.

Hi,

If it is not available in the paths mentioned by Dinesh and Michael , then you can load the Fiscal varients from source system.

Go to RSA1> from the source sytem context menu>'Transfer global settings>Select check box for Fiscal varients.> execute.

And also select the check box 'Update tables' in the selection for MODE .

Then try to Activate the ODS.

Hi rao,

first idea would be to check if the value exists in your BW.

To do this go to the IMG (transaction SPRO) -> Press F5 ->

BW Customizing Implementation Guide -> Business Information Warehouse -> General BW Setting -> Maintain fiscal year variant.

I checked SPRO , ther are no entries there, should I maintain them manually here . I thought it would come through when I do transfer global settings.
