We are planning to update our SAP GUI to BW frontend patch 5. Testing has shown that the Web Application Designer has a bug with larger web templates. SAP Note No. 857360 recommends replacing the RFCLIB32 file with a newer version attached to the note.
We do not have much time left to test this new file to meet our deployment schedule. Anyone useing it? How much risk do you see in deploying it? I would prefer to have it packaged in a tested front end patch.

Hi John,
we just released patch 12 for SAP GUI 6.40 (I'll make an announcement soon). This comes with librfc32.dll version 6403.3.86.4789 which is more recent than the version mentioned in the note.
