Regarding SUP 2.2 upgrade

I had a question regarding the possible upgrade to SUP 2.2 from my current version 2.1.3

1) If we do the upgrade can we deploy our 2.1.3 generated projects on 2.2. without any rework. What will be effect on native projects which are developed thorugh MBO object API?

2) How to manage our apps that we have already rolled out after the upgrade

3) Do we need 2 separate instances to support our legacy apps on 2.1.3 and apps that we will generate as a part of the new 2.2 server.

Please give me thoughts and comments

    Hi Midhun,

    my understanding is:

    1. in SUP 2.1.3 there are 2 folders seperately for RBS and MBS under this path:

    C:\Sybase\UnwiredPlatform\MobileSDK213\ObjectAPI\iOS

but in SUP 2.2 we dont have seperate folder for RBS and MBS.

so definitely there would be difference b/w includes and libraries files.

    2. which SUP 2.2 service pack are you using?

if it is SP02 (SUP 2.2.2), then there would be issue with generated code.

if it is SUP 2.2.0 or SUP 2.2.1, then you can migrate MBOs.

( i have done that,, didnt face any issue)
