Hi Every one,

I have a multiprovider, developed few reports on top of multiprovider when I run report in RSRT it is displaying "No data applicable" and for remaining reports data is displaying, data is available in multi provider .I have checked in filters,selections etc. but I could find where exactly problem lies and I have searched blogs in SDN,didnt found solution to my issue.

An early response would be appreciated, I need to move to UAT

Hi

Seems to be you are developed new report and which is not displaying data then you also mentioned that all the selections are in place but normally due to following reasons will dont get data when executes bex report

1. Data unavailability

2. filter selections

3. Check if any navigational attributes used (Load masters for the same)

4. Char identification in multiprovider.

5. Attribute change run if MP is based on master obejcts

so please relook your design and figure out the exact issue.

Hi All,

Thanks for your valuable suggestions

I have tried all your suggestions

Data is avaliable in MP,Filters are manual Entry and few Customer exit variable are present in Query.

I checked the code for that , those are working fine Data is getting to variables

Not knowing where exactly issue

Please help me as this is on high priority

Hi,

If data is available in MP, it will show the same in report. There are some reasons that data will not be available in your report,

1. Check the filter used in query. (Use the same filter (customer exit and manual entry) in MP, and check the data is available in MP).

2. Try to restrict the displayed characteristics/ KFs of MP listcube output to the same level as in query. (Because sometimes your KF is identified from one of the cube, but the filtered characteristics are not identified from the same cube. Then there will be no data available).

3. Check the identification of characteristics/Nav attributes and KFs in MP.

Kindly check these points.

check if u have defined any condition at query level may be because of that u r not getting data.

Hi,

In RSRT,  for query , Goto button 'Properties'.

Check the 'Read mode'  

If Read Mode is set as X or H , try setting 'A' and then check whether you get the data or not.

Also try to Regenerate the Query using the 'Generate Report' in RSRT.

Make sure that you check whether for your filter restriction in Query , you have data available.

You can check using Listcube.

check for all characterstics values mentioned in the filter section of the query.

Also look out for any customer exit or replacement path restrictions happening within the RKFs or calculations used in key figure section. These may also restrict the data n cause the query not to return any result.

Check if your Info objects/Nav attributes are checked in multiprovder  with the required infocube.

Check if this report contains any authorization relevant infoobject which is not there in other reports.

Flitered values are available in cubes and multi provider as well, reporting symbol is available at all the request of cubes.

Hi saroja,

While reporting on multi-provider, aggregates may be filling, Please try to run report now.

Have checked identification of info objects and have you ran this report before or this is the first time.

Hi Saroja,

Please check the filtered values may not be be available in cubes which are connected to multi provider.

Please check the reporting symbol at request of cubes.
