Employee's org. data replication

Dear All,

I'd appreciate your advise on below:

Context: I have SAP CRM 7.02 integrated with SAP ERP system. Together with customer we have decided that we are going to replicate empolyee's master data from ERP to CRM, but we will not replicate organizational structure to CRM, mostly because it's useless in our case. Recently my customer raised requirement to have some of org. assignment data (infotype: 0001) visible in CRM, only for information purpose. These fields are: personnel subarea, position and company code.

Question: What would be the best practice approach in given situation? Should I replicate org. structure to CRM anyway? Can I make those fields visible in CRM employees master data w/o necessity to copy organization structure into CRM? Is it even possible?

I'd appreciate your suggestions.

best regards,

Kornel
