Consumptions values already exist for period ind./fiscal yr variant

(Hi

We are about
to start Forecasting based planning and have a question about the Period
Indicator in Material Master...

Earlier we
have monthly indicator “M”

We want to to
forecasting on a weekly & daily basis... but when we choose
week("W" ) indicator in place of “M” , the system warns with
"Consumptions values already exist for period ind./fiscal yr variant
M" (Monthly.)

This is
warning msg. but when we are going to execute forecast it shows that no
historical data exists.

But data is
on monthly basis when i am changing it to weekly consumption it is not showing
any data

I want consumption data to be on
weekly & daily basis.

How can i get it?)

Regards,

Sachin Mohil

      Hi Caetano,

Thanx for replay but this not possible to maintain manually consumption value because there is 3 years data & there are 5000 materials.

Pl let me know how it will automatically convert to week or day value.

      or there is any configuration.

      waiting for urgent reply...

      regards,
