Sending E-mail

Hi Friends,

I've got an requiremnt that whenever there is an error encountered while the particular program is running, it got to send the error information as e-mail to some one's email id( example: xyz123@hotmail.com). How do i do this? I know some function modules... But i want all technical information + sample coding.
