Functional Area is not getting updated in FI docuemnts posted from Assessments (CO-FI Real time integration)

Hi Experts

I have activated CO-FI real time integration (New GL and Doc. splitting is active) for cross company, cross profit center and cross functional area and system is posting FI documents whenever allocations are performed across cross company / profit center / cross functional area. But Functional area is not getting updated in FI documents. If i activate "Derive Functional are in Assessment cycle header, Functional area is getting updated only in line item of receiver side of entry but not sender side. Could you please help me in understanding the cause for this ? I did required settings in KCUI.
