Create a New Plant code for Reporting Purpose

Hello Experts,

Can anybody clarify about this...issue?

My client is from Argentina asking me to create a new plant code in SAP to manage the assignment of fixed assets for financial reporting and to provide for the ability to create by Argentina CUIT code.

When i checker the SAP System they have two Company Codes 1000, 1001 e.g.  and two plant under CCode -1001 (1000, 1001 e.g.) don’t have any Purchasing documents. But Accounting Document is available in the system.

The Business requirement is Plant Code need to be created in SAP for company code 1000 e.g. and

Linking the plant code to CUIT code to allow for statutory reporting with custom Argentina report.

Probably i didn’t get any information from FI regarding this issue

Is there any problem will arise if create a plant code in SAP System.

Assets are also managed by locations not by plants, try to explore any reports under asset explorer.

Cuit i believe refers to single tax indentification number.

Therefore, The requirement is a financial report to monitor assets by location and by tax number. Nothing to do with plant setting.

Better refer this requirement to fico consultant.
