hierarchy problem

Hi all,

i have customer infoobject for which the hier. is maintained, i mapped that to my transaction data and every thing is loading(only testing with few records) fine but in the report the customers are under the not assigned node(report has only one node i.e not assigned), I checked the hier. in rsa1 and the customer is assigned to the hier, then why doesn’t the hier appear in the report. Is there any why I can figure out this?

Hi Shetty,

After loading the hierarchy, have you run the Hierarchy Attribute Change run program?

i havent made any change to the hier. its the existing one that i am using and i assume thats all maintained.

Could you see the hierarchy earlier in your report? You can still try to run the program as it will not break anything.

the info object has been compounded to division, sales org and distribution channel, so do they aso need to match???

i checked the master data and division, sales org and distribtion channel for the customer is xx, and i have other values from my flat file.

So is the situation that you have CUSTOMER in your report and have turned on the hierarchy for this, and all go to the Not Assigned node. And the values for division, sales org and distr channel are also # or not assigned?

i ma not using division, dist.cha and sales org, they have some value in the flat file, but in the master data for customer the values for those are XX.You got the first part correct.

my asumption is correct its becuse of the division, distri chan, and sales org when i make them all xx in my transaction data the hier is perfect as i wish.
