How to enable session failover of BI lauchpad in BI4.0?

Hi Experts,

Now,I am testing the bo cluster deployment following the artical of SCN Wiki:http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/System+Landscape+Overview

Our Environment:

  1. Host1: Apache 2.2+NFS Server for FRS on SLES 11.2
  2. Host2: Tomcat 6.0 A+BI 4.0 SP04 on SLES 11.2, and it's the primary node
  3. Host3: Tomcat 6.0 B+BI 4.0 SP04 on SLES 11.2, and it's the additional node

I have Troubleshooted Application Server Cluster according to "http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/Application+Server+Troubleshooting". For example, when i logon to tomcatA, i can find the session id is "442FB18A0A407AA02B96853A2EF0C60C.SuseHA1" from the tomcat manager of TomcatA and TomcatB . Then, i stop TomcatA, and i can find the session id become "

442FB18A0A407AA02B96853A2EF0C60C.SuseHA2".Although the sessions are replicated between cluster nodes, the session id also changed after the current tomcat stopped, but the BI lanchpad session can't failover. Why?

Thank for your input in advance!

Best Regards,

Sciano
