Material with fix quantity in BOMS

Hi all,

I've 2 questions about BOMS:

- is there a possibility to set in a BOM one position with a component (Rework material) wich has a fix quantity. It means that regardless of the quantity to produce, the quantity from this component will allways be the same?

- I would like to have the possibilisty to have a position in a BOM which will not be concidered in the costs and prices calculations (because it is a rework position allredy produced and just added to the produced quantity

I'll try to explain with an example :

BOM for Material A

needs 100 KG from material B

50 KG from material C (backflushed)

10 KG from material D (Rework -> cann be added if we have some rework or not)

Material D is a rework Material and must not have any influence on the costs from the production oder.

This means, to calculate the backflushed quantity for Material C, the system should only concider 100KG from Material B and not 110 KG (B + D)

To calculate the production costs and prices, the system should only concider 100KG from Material B + 50 KG from Matierial C but NOT the 10 KG from Material D.

I hope I'm clear in my example

Thank you

kind regards

    1) In the BOM item details Basic Data Tab you have an Fixed quantity indicator. If you select this regardless of the quantity to be fixed the item quantity will be fixed.

    2) In the BOM item details Status/Lng Text there is a field for costing relevancy,if you leave it blank the item will not be considered for costing.
